ANI’s Gin Bar and Tapas Restaurant is Rotorua’s newest 100% Māori owned and operated business. The kaupapa (purpose) of ANI’s is to give customers a nostalgic New Zealand dining experience through the dishes served in tapas style.
ANI’s dishes are cleverly mastered, using New Zealand produce found from both land and sea such as pork and beef, horopito, karengo, kawakawa smoked kahawai, South Island queen scallops and much more. This is also found in the cocktails where only New Zealand distilled gins, including Rotorua’s own Duo Gin.
Other well-known New Zealand foods such as Caramello chocolate, fried bread, and hokey pokey are used in ANI’s Sweet Finishes.
