The team at RotoruaNZ, alongside Rotorua’s tourism operators, warmly invites travel sellers attending TRENZ 2027 to express their interest in either a pre-TRENZ group famil or a curated famil experience. 

This is your chance to explore Rotorua, a place where wellness, culture, nature and adventure come together to create experiences that will inspire your clients. 

What we offer

We’re offering exclusive pre-TRENZ group famils designed to give you firsthand experience of Rotorua’s tourism offerings and strengthen your knowledge of the destination. 

Whether you’re a long-time seller of Rotorua or visiting for the first time, these fully hosted experiences will deepen your knowledge of the destination and give you the confidence to recommend Rotorua as a minimum three-night stay for your clients. You’ll discover new itinerary ideas, experience both iconic and emerging tourism products, and see how Rotorua’s operators continue to evolve and enhance their visitor experiences. Most importantly, you’ll experience the destination as your clients would, while connecting with the people behind the products and enjoying the manaakitanga Rotorua is known for.

For those looking for something more tailored, RotoruaNZ can also arrange curated famil itineraries before or after TRENZ. These bespoke programmes are designed around your market, business needs and product interests, ensuring you experience the products and experiences most relevant to you and your clients. 

Please note pre-TRENZ group famils are available to registered TRENZ 2027 attendees only.

Pre-TRENZ Group Famil Options 

1. Western Markets & India Itinerary

• Designed for travel sellers from Western Markets and India and hosted by RotoruaNZ
• Start: 6 May 2027 at 11am 
• Finish: 9 May 2027 at 11am 

2. Eastern Markets Itinerary

• Designed for travel sellers from Eastern Markets, including China, Taiwan, Japan, South East Asia and South Korea and hosted by RotoruaNZ
• Start: 6 May 2027 at 11am 
• Finish: 9 May 2027 at 12pm 

Please note: Itineraries are subject to change. 

What’s included in the Pre-TRENZ Group Famils

• Accommodation for the core famil dates, checking in 6 May and checking out 9 May 
• Transport during thefamil 
• Main meals during thefamil 
• Experiences specified in the itinerary 

Please note: Transport to and from Rotorua is not included. As places are limited, we’re also unable to accommodate partners or travel companions on the group famils. 

Pre- or Post-TRENZ Curated Famil Options 

Independent, curated famils are available both before and after TRENZ. 

This option may be right for you if you’re unable to attend the group famil dates above or have specific requirements for your visit.
