Secret Spot is a fabulous hot tub experience with a unique café and bar. Set in a beautifully landscaped garden, there are 12 hand-crafted cedar hot tubs nestled among native plantings and alongside a lovely stream on the edge of a magical forest.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while soaking in your own luxurious, deep pool of fresh spring water, which is heated to a perfectly wonderful 39.5 degrees Celsius. Complimentary chilled drinking water is provided, and you can order beers, wines, ciders and bubbles, or a full range of hot drinks, via tub-side button.
Add a refreshing twist to your soak and take the plunge in a complimentary cedar cold plunge tub.
Alternatively, Secret Spot Hot Tubs is excited to offer ‘Sauna Corner’ as our new customer wellness experience, presently consisting of 2 saunas, with another 2 saunas to be added in the near future. Refresh in a private stone-heated sauna, with views over magically lit ponds and small waterfalls. Designed for up to four people in your group, these traditional saunas are made with fragrant Japanese hinoki wood and use volcanic rocks from Finland. Our two nearby cedar cold plunge tubs allow you to embrace the benefits of contrast therapy, creating an invigorating experience.
Your private sauna experience will include a 40-minute sauna, as well as complimentary cold plunge tubs, chilled drinking water and access to our Shinny Dip foot hot tubs. Towels, swimwear, and robes are all available for hire at reception.
You will feel destressed, invigorated and ready to take on the world again. This is a truly magical experience and one not to be missed after a busy day of adventures.
Secret Spot is also home to the extremely popular Shinny Dips, i.e., mini foot tubs! These are free with the purchase of a drink or fresh bakery treat. All food and drinks are sourced as locally as possible and include Manuka Brothers Coffee, Good George beers and ciders, Mills Reef wine and Guidough’s bakery savouries and slices.
