Relax and unwind at Waikite Valley Hot Pools Campground where campers have free unlimited access to the hot pool complex onsite.

Adjoining the geothermal hot pool complex is a 26-site campground featuring both powered and non-powered sites. There are shower, laundry and kitchen facilities plus a thermally heated drying room available for campers to use during their stay.

Campers have free access to the hot pool complex in a beautifully landscaped natural environment overlooking the Otamakokore Stream and Waikite Valley. Private hot pools are available for booking at an additional cost.

There is a short eco-trail walking track to Te Manaroa Spring, where you can see the boiling geothermal spring water bubbling to the earth's surface. 

Also on site is a licenced cafe, Pukeko in a Ponga Tree Café, offering snacks and hot and cold drinks including beer and wine options. 
 
Perfectly located between Rotorua and Taupō, within easy access to the areas geothermal attractions. The campsite also marks the end of Te Ara Ahi cycle trail, part of Ngā Haerenga, the New Zealand Cycle Trails.

Pets are not allowed at the campground.
