Horse trek through 500 acres of native bush and 1,500 acres of working sheep and cattle farm with stunning views of Lake Okareka, Lake Tarawera and Mount Tarawera.

Lake Okareka Horse Trekking has horses to suit all abilities, with guided treks from 30 minutes to 3 hours. What a fantastic way to enjoy the fresh air and experience the region. Rides to suit all abilities from beginners to experienced riders.

Daily departures at 10am, 1.30pm and times to suit. Various routes on offer, depending on weather, trail conditions & rider experience
