Lazy Fifty

Lazy Fifty

If you love classic blues rock, you'll love Lazy Fifty. We’re starting the night with some of our own kiwi blues rock originals. Once we’ve warmed you up with a few of our own tunes, we'll crack into some awesome music from the bands we love. Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, ZZ Top, Santana, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and other great bands of the era. A tight three piece band with two male vocalists and an extensive catalogue of their own songs, Lazy Fifty's original music harks back to the blues rock of the 70s, enhanced with a healthy dose of funk, rocking rhythms and impressive guitar. Lazy Fifty released their first album Petra et Volvo in 2017 and are currently promoting second album Fifty Shades of Lazy. You can check out both albums on Spotify. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0TERjAd4UIMN6Yw0eOnPKs The name Lazy Fifty comes from the saying of an old friend. When he asked you for a ‘lazy $20’, you knew you’d never see the money again. That was a long time ago and our friend is no longer around. In memory of him, and allowing for inflation, we are now ‘Lazy Fifty’.

Jason Kerrison - I Will If You Will - Acoustic Solo Tour: CANCELLED

Singer/Songwriter Jason Kerrison is taking his talents across Aotearoa on a special solo songbook tour, hosted at delightful intimate venues sharing Opshop, The Babysitters Circus songs, solo work including his new single and some of his personal all-time favourites. With 15 shows between October 11th and December 7th, from Kaitaia to The Cook in Dunedin fans will be treated to JK performing solo with his loop pedal, conjuring forth acoustic versions of ‘No Ordinary Thing’, ‘Saturated’, ’Nothing Can Wait’, ‘Maybe’, ’One Day’, ‘Pins and Needles’, ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’. Just some of the material from the songbook of 7 time platinum artist, Silver Scroll Winner and 9 time Tui Award recipient Jason’s Kerrison’s newest single ‘I Will If You Will’ released on September 20th by the Amsterdam based company TCBYNML worldwide, despite its electro pop sonic sheen, will be reimagined simply and on acoustic guitar with voice for these shows. Jason says “I’ve been on the road a lot but never on my own. I’m looking forward to jamming out these songs and stripping them back to where most of them came from, my acoustic guitar and my voice. I’m looking forward to sharing these songs and the stories that come with them. It’ll be a little loose and a bit of fun. To be honest if I feel like doing a bit of random karaoke, I will, and I’ll invite others to as well!”
