Join the Friends of Rotorua Museum for a special screening of historical film footage on Sunday 24 June 2018 at 2pm.

View the surviving film reel of the 1925 film The Romance of Hinemoa, together with a 1930’s guided tour through Whakarewarewa with Guide Rangi.

Take a visit to New Zealand’s famous Rotorua Spa and a steam train journey from Wellington to Auckland via Rotorua in 1939.

Sneak a peek at wartime New Zealand in 1943 as women on the home front took over the work of men away at war.

The screening will take place at Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust Rooms (1358 Eruera Street, Rotorua) with tea, coffee, and biscuits provided.

Tickets are on sale at Rotorua Lakes Council reception from 23 May and cost $10 for Friends members or $15 for non-members. Seats are limited.
