Agrodome Sheep Show and Farm Tour

Enjoy an hour-long live sheep show which includes a display of New Zealand’s 19 most popular sheep breeds, working sheep dogs, sheep shearing and cow milking demonstration. There’s also a chance to feed baby lambs and take part in a New Zealand sheep auction.

Join the inter-active Agrodome Farm Tour, a tractor-drawn trailer will take you on a leisurely trip around the 350-acre farm surrounding the Agrodome complex. See sheep, cows, deer, emus, alpaca, pigs and ostrich in a real farm environment. The tour allows for numerous opportunities to pat and feed the animals.

Located within the realm of the Agrodome is a plethora of unique New Zealand adventure activities. At Agroventures you will find Agrojet – which is the fastest jet sprint experience in land – hang on while your professional driver takes you on three hot laps of our 1km sprint course, reaching speeds of up to 100kmph. Then head over to Swoop – where up to three people at a time are hoisted 40m sky high, one pulls the rip cord and you go plummeting towards the earth and 130kmp! Take on the iconic NZ adventure challenge with Rotorua Bungy and be rewarded with spectacular views of Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and the surrounding farm land before your 43m jump. Freefall Xtreme is the only place in the Southern Hemisphere where you can try the art of body flying – be suspended on a wind column and let our team take you on the flight of your life. Try out our newest adventure and another world first with Shweeb. This is a pedal powered monorail racetrack – challenge yourself to race against the clock, a friend or another team.

Visit the birthplace of the Zorb, where Zorbonauts can experience rolling

The Agrodome is proudly owned and operated by two local Rotorua families and was established in 1972.
