Agrodome Sheep Show and Farm Tour
Enjoy an hour-long live sheep show which includes a display of New Zealand’s 19 most popular sheep breeds, working sheep dogs, sheep shearing and cow milking demonstration. There’s also a chance to feed baby lambs and take part in a New Zealand sheep auction.
Join the inter-active Agrodome Farm Tour, a tractor-drawn trailer will take you on a leisurely trip around the 350-acre farm surrounding the Agrodome complex. See sheep, cows, deer, emus, alpaca, pigs and ostrich in a real farm environment. The tour allows for numerous opportunities to pat and feed the animals.
An Agrodome visit is guaranteed to provide all you need to know about New Zealand’s agricultural industry PLUS all the fun you can handle because our adventure site is a ‘must see’ part of your Rotorua visit.
Agrodome also has on-site a café and restaurant, Woollen Mill, Shearing Shed with history and memorabilia, Dog & Whistle Gifts & Souvenirs and the famous Titan a 3m by 6m giant Merino sheep.
The Agrodome is proudly owned and operated by two local Rotorua families and was established in 1972.
