Neil Hunt Park
Located 5 minutes drive from central Rotorua, Neil Hunt Park serves the local communities sport's and recreational needs.
Neil Hunt Park was acquired and developed by a former Rotorua County Council who named it after a long serving County Chairman. The park is used for cricket, rugby, softball and soccer and is home to the Rotorua United Football Club and the Suburbs Soccer Club.
The total area of the park is 11 hectares. In the past the land has been used for industrial movements including the time a local timber industry covered the base of the existing sports fields in sawdust. The park also features a former quarry site which is now utilised by various clubs and sports teams.
