The Rotorua Education Network and Tourism Rotorua Education Office aims to give teachers bringing a field trip to Rotorua a helping hand. Primarily focussing on Year 13 Geography and Year 11 Geography, the Education Network can provide information on relevant tourism operators and other educational resources to meet the curriculum needs of teachers and students. The Tourism Rotorua Education Office will:
- organise and book an itinerary that meets your requirements
- arrange talks with appropriate people with working knowledge of the tourism industry
- organise accommodation and transport to suit your needs and budget
- save you the hassle of booking with individual attractions
The Education Network is a first-of-a-kind commitment to education by tourist operators in the area. This section of the website provides operator case studies and resources that can be downloaded by students and teachers.
It's not just for Year 13 and Year 11.
If you are a teacher wishing to visit Rotorua with your students - whatever their ages, the Education Network can still be of assistance to you with your bookings and itineraries. Be sure to use the Booking Form on our Contact Us page.
