Rotorua Night Market

Night Market in Rotorua
The Rotorua Night Market is one of Rotorua's great local markets and a family friendly must do event, popular with locals and visitors alike.

Enjoy boutique style shopping, with the best the region has to offer in arts, crafts and produce. Taste the variety of ethnic cuisine (including Croatian, Indian, French patisseries, handmade Italian pasta and of course local kai!) and be entertained by our favourite and very talented local musicians. Lots of music, fun and entertainment to be had at Rotorua's most popular and vibrant market.

Follow the Rotorua Night Market on Facebook for regular updates on each weekly event.

The Night Market is on every Thursday evening from 5pm to 9pm (weather permitting) in Tutanekai Street (between Haupapa and Hinemoa Streets).

Tips on visiting the Night Market:

The Market is open until 9pm and at times the temperature can drop quickly so bring a jacket or another layer of clothing.

Some of our stallholders do have Eftpos available, however you may find it easier to carry cash.
There are two ATMs on opposite corners of Pukuata and Tutanekai Streets, in the centre of the market. The queues can get long so you might like to bring enough cash with you.

There is plenty of free parking (after 5pm) in the streets around the market. Come early to secure a park close by if you don't want to walk too far. Walking from the Lakefront to the Market will take around 6 minutes. For more information on parking in Rotorua.
