Award-winning New Zealand artists exhibit in Rotorua
August 13, 2010The inaugural art exhibition being held in conjunction with the Wearable Creation ‘n Colour Awards officially opens on Sunday, August 22, with an invite-only VIP cocktail function that will allow potential collectors an opportunity to secure some of the finest art ever exhibited in the area.
Following the opening reception, the exhibition will open to the public on Monday, August 23 and run until Saturday, August 28, from 9am to 4pm daily.
At Rotorua's Energy Events Centre, the exhibition offers a fantastic viewing experience, while also providing a fresh, alternative way to enjoy art by meeting artists at work during scheduled daily displays.
Displays by artists can be viewed daily from 11.30 am to 2pm, according to the following schedule.
August 18-20: Lianne Maxwell, Capers Epicurean
August 23: Trevor Nathan, Energy Events Centre
August 24: Martyn Evans, Energy Events Centre
August 25: Judith Prictor, Energy Events Centre
August 26: Mary Hodge, Energy Events Centre
August 27: Bruce McLachlan, Energy Events Centre
Come to the exhibition to experience all that it has to offer. Food will be available and admission is free.
