Agrodome Sheep Show - Enjoy an hour-long live show which includes a display of N.Z.’s 19 most popular sheep breeds, working sheep dogs, sheep shearing and cow milking demonstration. There's also a chance to feed baby lambs and take part in a N.Z. sheep auction.
Sheep Shearing Museum – visit a totally recreated, authentic 1950’s era Shearing Shed, complete with vintage shaft drive shearing machine which is still fully functional and is used for shearing demonstrations on a daily basis. Included in the shearing shed is a wide range of equipment such as grinders, wool presses and other shearing paraphernalia from the 1950’s era.
Woollen Mill - We'll take you a giant step back in time, 100 years in fact. The major feature is a Platt wool carding machine, made in UK in 1906, and still working as well as it did the day it started. Witness all aspects of wool processing including carding, spinning, weaving and knitting.
