Spa at QE
Spa at QE is a geothermal health spa, incorporating volcanic mud, mineral water and steam into its treatments to help you relax, revive and rejuvenate. As the direct successor to the original bathhouse, now the Rotorua Museum in Government Gardens, the tradition of skilled, professional therapists, and a caring atmosphere carries on.
Unwind in a warm mineral pool, and follow with a therapeutic or deep tissue massage or relax with one of our signature treatments.
The Aix Massage; a gentle relaxing massage performed with flowing strokes while jets of warm thermal water shower your body.
The Mud Bath; for a unique Rotorua experience, indulge in warm liquid volcanic mud bath, which benefits aching muscles and calms and detoxifies the skin. Choose between a double or single bath, in a private room. Each mud bath is individually run for the client.
In addition to the Aix Massage and Mud Baths, the spa menu includes Mineral Pools, Mud packs, Steam beds, paraffin wax for hands and feet, plus the more recent addition of Mud wraps and Mud facials to add a touch of self-indulgence.
We offer many specialty massage treatments such as Sports, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Stone massage, Reflexology, Manual lymphatic drainage and Pregnancy Massage.
As a Spa within a health facility, we cater for all your needs. Whether you are simply a weary traveller looking for time out after a day of sightseeing or adventure activities, or wanting a more comprehensive multi-day package with a therapeutic focus, we are here to improve your general well-being. A support team of health professionals, such as physiotherapists, and fitness instructors are available, including a fully equipped fitness gym available for casual use.
