Located in the world famous Bath House building, an architectural icon in itself, Rotorua Museum is the ideal start to your Rotorua adventure. And a recently opened multimillion-dollar development has transformed the Museum into a truly world class experience.

Discover the region's rich Māori culture, volatile landscape and dramatic history brought to life through innovative displays, art exhibitions, fascinating cinema experiences, and informative guided tours.

Don't miss Ngā Pūmanawa o Te Arawa - The Beating Hearts of Te Arawa – an exhibition that takes you deep into the world of Te Arawa, the original inhabitants of the area, and follows their journey from origins across the Pacific to their lives in Rotorua today. Plus five changing galleries present a varied programme of art exhibitions and touring shows.

Your admission includes entry to all permanent and changing exhibitions, two cinema experiences, the viewing platform and scheduled guided tours.

Open 9am to 5pm during the winter months and 9am to 8pm during summer.
