The spa offers a choice of 26 hot mineral bathing pools and an enticing array of spa therapies.

The Lake Spa is Polynesian Spa's deluxe bathing and relaxation haven. Clients to this area can use the deluxe Lake Spa pools, four rock pools of varying temperatures from 36ºC to 43ºC, set invitingly alongside the shores of Sulphur Bay, Lake Rotorua. These pools are landscaped with native flora and designed with the creative use of natural rocks; the pools are a unique environment of tranquility and beauty. The spacious changing rooms are well appointed with security lockers, soap, shampoo, towels and hairdryers for client use.

For those clients wishing to experience the ultimate in relaxation, the Lake Spa Retreat offers clients an enticing array of spa therapies.

As well as the legendary Aix Spa massage – a water therapy that has been available at Polynesian Spa for more than 30 years, we offer Rotorua mud wraps and packs and New Zealand manuka honey polishes and wraps. The enticing array of spa therapies and hydro spa therapies are designed solely for the clients at Lake Spa Retreat.

Adults have the use of a large hot alkaline mineral bathing pool (temperature 38°C or 100°F), three cascading pools and three adjacent Priest Spa acidic pools (temperatures 39°C to 41°C) overlooking Lake Rotorua.

There are 13 private pools, 4 deluxe pools with views over Lake Rotorua, the other 9 standard pools provide quite seclusion. Each pool has a heated changing room with a shower. The pools operate on a first arrive first serve basis and can be used for 30 mins, min 2 adults.

The Family Spa comprises a large fresh water pool with a toddler's pool and small hydro slide. Overlooking are two hot alkaline mineral pools (37ºC and 40ºC) where adults can relax whilst supervising their children.

Our licensed Hot Springs Café offers healthy light cuisine, free Wi-Fi, great coffee and has a delightful outdoor courtyard, and our Spa Essentials gift shop offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of spa related products in New Zealand.
