New entertainment show emerging at The Blue Baths

December 8, 2011

Set to mark a significant anniversary with the launch of a new offering showcasing New Zealand’s wealth of emerging young, professional talent, the Blue Baths has a lot to celebrate!

‘1931’ launches on December 9th to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the opening of the historic venue’s juvenile pool on December 21st, 1931. More than just a show, ‘1931’ is part of a bigger plan to foster emerging talent. The EMERGE programme is designed to handpick and nurture New Zealand’s up and coming entertainment stars.

The show will run every Thursday and Friday in December, then Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout January and February. Admission includes a pre-show drink plus a tasting platter of contemporary desserts during intermission. Groups of 20 or more can opt for a dinner in the upstairs Tea Room prior to the show.

EMERGE performers will also be profiled on the Blue Baths website and their services will be accessible to the venue’s corporate and event clientele.
