Familiarisations

The Rotorua Convention Bureau welcomes the opportunity to familiarise new and existing meeting organisers. As Rotorua's C & I scene is constantly evolving via new investment and product offerings perhaps your Rotorua product knowledge could do with an update or maybe you require a specific look at a particular venue, product and/or service . . . either way the Bureau would be delighted to organise a famil for you.

Self Famil: Come with your partner at a time that suits you. The Bureau can organise one night FOC as well as three attractions relevant to your market. Additional nights can be organised at an industry rate. A more flexible option for those that want to do things on their own time and at their own pace.

Hosted Famil: Fully accompanied throughout your time in Rotorua. A pre-determined itinerary is agreed upon with appointments to see potential properties and activities.

Group Famil: Many operators within Rotorua organise group famils throughout the year. If you would like to participate in one of these, please let the Bureau know or talk to your hotel representative and register your interest to attend the next group familiarisation.
