Nestled on the shores of Lake Rotoehu, one of the most tranquil and historic lakes in the area, it offers wonderful solitude, yet only 20 minutes drive from Rotorua city and 15 minutes from Rotorua airport. Wildwood is the most recently constructed Qualmark five star luxury lodge in the Rotorua area, and with two large suites and a guest house, caters for a maximum of only six guests, offering a very unique and exclusive experience for the discerning traveller.
The property has been owned and operated by Simon and Cath Robertson since 1995 and they have enjoyed sharing their piece of paradise with many guests over this time. The extensive rebuilding of the Lodge in 2005 together with the magnificent location makes Wildwood a truly unique experience. The Lodge is spacious, modern and contemporary offering all the facilities one would expect in accommodation of this level. Both guest suites and the guest house have superb bathrooms, large baggage and dressing rooms, individually controllable central heating, private decks and magnificent lake views.
We encourage our guest to treat Wildwood as their home with an extremely relaxed atmosphere and a fully inclusive tariff for dinner bed and breakfast. All refreshments including wines, wireless broadband internet access and reasonable international telephone calls are included in our tariff.
