With more than 90 options to choose from, Rotorua has motels to cater for every style and budget. They range from basic and inexpensive through to motor inns that are stand-alone resorts. The majority have an excellent range of amenitities including things like heated swimming pool, spas, mineral pools, barbecue facilities, tennis court, mini golf, games room, children’s playground, restaurants, and dedicated on-site conference rooms.

Studio apartments, one and two bedroom units, and family units sleeping up to six or seven are among the usual options. All bedding, linen and towels are supplied.

Also known as motor inns, motor lodges, serviced apartments and motel apartments Rotorua's motel line-up offer non-smoking options, guest laundry, room service breakfast (cooked or continental), phone, radio, colour television, Sky TV and pay to view channels, well equipped kitchen (except studio units which normally feature tea/coffee making only), and off-street parking with many able to accommodate boat and jet-ski trailers.
