Exclusive lodges are a great option for those with the time to really enjoy a taste of luxury while holidaying in New Zealand – and Rotorua boasts an excellent array of this top-end option.

Many of these retreats are found at the end of quiet country or residential roads, discreetly tucked away from public gaze.
