Set on 8.5 acres of rolling farmland with large mature trees for privacy, and only a few friendly sheep as neighbours, this is your chance to unwind and relax and enjoy the seclusion.
Peaceful and welcoming, Wildberry is a Scandinavian-inspired cottage nestled under a tree on the top of a hill above Hamurana. Large windows and a spacious deck give you views overlooking the surrounding farm. The sunsets are amazing and the afternoon sun will bathe you in warmth. At night, you can look down on the city lights of Rotorua.
Wildberry is the ultimate year-round rural escape for couples. Choose to hunker down and get some much-needed rest and relaxation or get out and about to explore the region. Indulge in a romantic retreat with fluffy towels, crisp sheets on a plush king bed, relaxing together with long soaks in the outdoor bath as the stars come out.
The cottage has a wood fire for extra warmth and cosiness, and a heat pump. Everything is new, bright and clean. There is a TV and internet/Wi-Fi. The modern kitchen contains all basic cooking appliances plus espresso maker and kettle. Scattered throughout are items the owners have picked up during travels to Finland, Sweden and Norway.
You're welcome to walk around the farm, and even feed the sheep and cattle by hand – they love apples. Let us now if you'd like to collect farm-fresh eggs for yourself. Feel free to pick your own berries, apples, plums, pears and citrus when they are in season.
