Country Villa
Built 1906 in Auckland and transported to Rotorua 90 years later, the Victorian-style Country Villa has been completely renovated and restored. With good old-fashioned hospitality, a log fire in the guest lounge offers a cosy atmosphere on those cool evenings and a cottage garden to enjoy in the Spring and Summer, we offer an excellent place for rest after a day's sightseeing.
Bordered by native shrubs, trees and the Waiteti Stream, our country cottage garden is the ideal place to enjoy a stroll and just sit and enjoy the peace of this rural setting.
Enjoy a home cooked breakfast in our sunny breakfast room where the sun streams in through leadlight windows. Non smoking inside.
We offer five well-appointed, tastefully decorated spacious rooms with garden views either upstairs and downstairs. Most feature queen-sized beds and ensuites (own bath/shower and toilet). One is suitable for the elderly or disabled as it has wheelchair access. All rooms have a wireless internet connection available.
Downstairs we have The Verdi Room, The Rose Room and The Country Corner Room all with queen-sized beds and ensuites. The rate per night for two persons is $225.
Upstairs we have a 2-bedroom suite consisting of The Sunflower Room with one queen/single bed and The Cottage Room with twin beds. Private (shared) bath/toilet facilities means it is suitable for single party bookings only. The rate per night for two is $245, extra adults: $85, children up to 10 years: $40.
