City Lights Boutique Lodge
City Lights is a Boutique Lodge set in 2 acres of grounds half way up Mount Ngongotaha in the beautiful city of Rotorua.
Opened in December 2008, we are a purpose built Boutique Lodge offering spectacular views over the city, 3 beautiful en-suite rooms with sumptuous linens and drapes. With just 3 rooms we can offer a top class service as well as privacy.
We have fantastic facilities including a guest lounge with computer station including FREE wireless broadband internet, real fire and heat pump/air conditioner. Offering plenty of off road parking for cars, trailers, and boats. Garage parking can be arranged if preferred.
All guest bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with bathrobes, luxury toiletries, tea/coffee making facility, bottled water, walled mounted LCD TV with Sky, wall mounted CD/Radio, hairdryer, local art on walls, thermostatically controlled heaters, double glazed windows.
Other facilities include a gym, outdoor spa, and infrared sauna. Laundry also available. We have 2 mountain bikes available to guests at no charge.
We have been in the accommodation industry in Rotorua for over 6 years and welcome the chance to help you plan the most from your trip. Attractions and restaurant advice freely given and bookings can be made by your hosts on request.
We also have a separate 2 bedroom cottage which we make available on a self-catering basis, it is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It has a fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher and the lounge has a large flat screen TV with freeview. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and another with 2 single bunk beds. The shower room has toiletries and the prices include all bedding and towels. There is also a small laundry with washing machine and dryer and decks outside with a BBQ. Private garden and parking for 2 cars.
We have 4 Alpacas, Angus the Goat, Jelly the Jack Russell and Snowy the cat - all guest friendly. Jim and Naomi have done all possible to ensure the highest standards for your comfort and enjoyment and welcome any feedback from you.
